Industrial Facility Specifications & Equipment Capacity

ENGINEERED FOR INDUSTRIAL-SCALE PRODUCTION
At D&K Powder Coating, our facility is engineered for high-volume industrial production, large-scale components, and oversized metal parts. Our equipment, booth sizes, curing systems, and material handling capabilities allow us to process projects that many regional shops simply cannot accommodate. Located in North Mankato, Minnesota, we serve manufacturers, fabricators, agricultural producers, and commercial clients across the Midwest and nationally.

MATERIAL HANDLING
& LIFTING CAPACITY
We are equipped to safely handle large industrial components.

-
Overhead crane capacity: 40,000 lbs.
-
Forklift capacity: 17,000 lbs.
-
Dock loading area
-
Wide access for oversized freight

These capabilities allow efficient processing of heavy fabricated assemblies and structural steel projects.

POWDER COATING
Our advanced powder coating booths feature high-efficiency ventilation and controlled environments to ensure uniform coverage and flawless finishes — even on oversized parts.

Booth Dimensions: (height, width, length)
16′ x 12′ x 45′
16′ x 12′ x 30′ (2 booths)
10′ x 10′ x 20′
16′ x 15′ x 60′

Our 60-foot booth allows us to coat exceptionally long structural components and fabricated assemblies with consistent finish quality from end to end.

MEDIA BLASTING
Surface preparation determines coating longevity. Our industrial media blasting booths remove rust, scale, old coatings, and contaminants to create an ideal surface profile for powder adhesion.

Blast Booth Dimensions: (height, width, length)
-
15′ x 12′ x 28′
-
20′ x 14′ x 51′
-
16′ x 12′ x 30′

The 51-foot blast booth enables preparation of long steel beams, equipment frames, and large fabricated components prior to coating.

CURE OVEN
Proper curing is critical to performance and durability. Our large-scale curing ovens ensure even heat distribution and complete curing across large and heavy components.
Oven Dimensions: (height, width, length)
-
16′ x 12′ x 52′
-
14′ x 10′ x 30′
-
15′ x 10′ x 32′
-
16′ x 14′ x 60′

Our 60-foot curing oven supports extended structural steel, heavy equipment frames, and oversized industrial assemblies — making large-part powder coating possible without compromise.

BURN-OFF OVEN
For stripping old coatings safely and efficiently, our burn-off ovens use controlled heating to convert coatings into fine ash while protecting the integrity of the base metal.

Burn-Off Oven Dimensions: (height, width, length)
-
7′ x 10′ x 10′
-
8′ x 20′ x 9′

This process is ideal for restoring fixtures, racks, and previously coated components before refinishing.
